Milk Proteins

What are Milk Proteins?

Milk proteins are made up of casein proteins and other proteins. There are four different types of casein proteins, and collectively they make up around 80% of the protein in cow's milk, by weight.

What is Milk Protein Isolate?

Milk Protein Isolate is a mixture of the two proteins found in milk which are whey and casein. This protein boasts a strong amino acid profile derived from both its whey and casein components. Since milk protein isolate contains whey and casein, it likely retains many of the functional properties of both whey and casein.

What is Milk Protein Concentrate?

Milk Protein Concentrate is produced from skim milk by a series of processes that includes ultrafiltration, evaporation and drying. [1]
