What is Soy?

Soy or soybeans and sometimes referred to as soya beans is a legume (plant) native to Eastern Asia cultivated for it's edible beans.

Is Soy Healthy?

Many arguments have been made whether Soy is actually healthy or unhealthy. Many say most forms of soy are actually more harmful than beneficial for health.

"Most modern soy foods are not fermented to neutralize toxins in soybeans, and are processed in a way that denatures proteins and increases levels of carcinogens."

Over 90% of soybeans are genetically modified according to the USDA. [3]

What is Edamame? 

Edamame is a type of food dish of immature soybeans in the pod, found in cuisines with origins in East Asia. The pods are boiled and/or steamed; However, in Japan, they are usually blanched in 4% salt water. [4]
